Subsea7 secures 2026 offshore work through contracts with Aramco and Shell.

Subsea7 has secured a major long-term contract with Aramco, estimated to be valued between $150 million and $300 million. Under this agreement, Subsea7 will carry out the decommissioning of current subsea installations and handle the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of a new pipeline and subsea systems at the Abu Safah field.

Engineering efforts are set to commence right away, while offshore work is scheduled for 2026. Project oversight will be based out of Subsea7's Al Khobar office in Saudi Arabia, with additional support from their teams in Dubai and Singapore.

David Bertin, Subsea7’s Senior Vice President of the Global Projects Centre East, noted that the deal strengthens their decade-long collaboration with Aramco and highlights their consistent project delivery within Saudi Arabia.

Separately, following a deal with Beacon Offshore Energy in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Subsea7 also landed a significant contract with Shell Offshore Inc., worth between $50 million and $150 million. This project includes the EPCI of a production flowline and related subsea systems for Phase 3 of the Silvertip development in the Alaminos Canyon, where depths reach up to 3,000 meters. Shell has just given final investment approval for the project.

Subsea7’s Houston office will lead the project management and engineering, with offshore operations expected to begin in 2026.
