Ocean Oilfield Integrated Solutions, based in Abu Dhabi, has successfully completed the upgrade and commissioning of the Rawabi Vallianz offshore jack-up barge 610 at its Sharjah Hamriyah Shipyard. The barge departed safely and on schedule after the project’s completion.
This accomplishment represents a key milestone in their partnership with Rawabi Vallianz, highlighting the client’s confidence in Ocean Oilfield’s expertise and their dedication to providing customized solutions that improve operational efficiency and prolong asset lifespans.
In 2023, Ocean Oilfield also performed maintenance and upgrades on another jack-up barge, completing the work within the planned 30-day timeframe. Additionally, they finished refurbishment and reactivation of a Borr Drilling jack-up rig, which has since begun drilling operations in the Middle East.
Sameer Mohammed, CEO and Managing Director, expressed pride in the team’s success and noted that the company recently earned prestigious API Q1 and Q2 certifications, becoming the first shipyard in the UAE to achieve API Q2 certification. This milestone reflects Ocean Oilfield’s strong commitment to quality, innovation, and meeting the highest industry standards.
